I HAVENT GIVEN UP

Well despite going bananas at my own Pity Party yesterday, today I just got on with it and did it. Did what you may ask? I ate clean. I followed Lindy Olsen's 7 Rules for Success adding 1 more excellent rule thanks to the ever wise and helpful Combat Girl (big thanks going out to you CG). Yep Rule # 8 is the "2 treats" rule that says: "If you're having a treat, always limit it to 2 of anything" (such as 2 glasses of wine, 2 biscuits etc ... of course with some things one is more than enough but you get the drift, I'm sure). Not that I had any treats today but I've decided to adopt that rule for myself in future.

So today was lots of lean protein with either veges or salad, mainly green although I havent committed to do the Green Detox in full. Tomorrow I'll make my ultimate decision about whether I'm prepared to give it my all to reach my sub 65 goal by the All Females or whether I've just left it too late. The number on the scales will be the deciding factor. I'm a bit hungry as I type this but thats just me having to get used to eating less after a few indulgent days.

I've been keeping up with my favourite blogs but I havent been commenting much due to lack of time. Like many others I enjoy going onto LindyOlsen.com and find that it takes hours to keep up to date on all the posts there. Oh so much to do, so little time.

Cheers all and tomorrow I'll blog my ultimate decision so please come back again

Magda, - looking forward to finding out your decision!

I'm NOT looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow as I finally replaced my lithium battery on the scales as I've pigged out tonight and feel full now and I have to get up at 3.45am for work! But I will be what I will be!

Magda - you wrote 'Tomorrow I'll make my ultimate decision about whether I'm prepared to give it my all to reach my sub 65 goal by the All Females or whether I've just left it too late',
just a question - do you not want to get to that goal anyway, whether its by the All Females, a week later, 2 weeks later?

If you do want to lose weight surely the sooner you start the quicker you get there? You will feel a hell of a lot better knowing you did what you could by that date even if it takes another week to get to the number you want.

Please don't take this in a bad way as I'm a fine one to talk :) but just struck me when I read it.

As you know whatever you diecide I'm here encouraging,
Shar x

I agree on the "two treats" limit - I always tell my clients to have ANYTHING they want, but to keep it small. Of course, sometimes I forget to follow my own rules... Like last weekend. Oops.

*sigh* We're all human.

I too feel the need to comment on your statement Tomorrow I'll make my ultimate decision about whether I'm prepared to give it my all to reach my sub 65 goal by the All Females or whether I've just left it too late. The number on the scales will be the deciding factor."

1st Question:
Why would you wait until tomorrow... What is wrong with right now?

2nd Question:
If you have a goal to reach sub 65, why does it have to be by the All Females or nothing? Aim for the All Females and even if you get close you have already achieved something.

3rd Question:
Why on earth would this all hinge on what the numbers say on a scale of all things?

What I am reading in your posts lately is giving me a feeling that you might be afraid of success and that is why the self-sabotage when you get on the right track. It's not about the food hon, it's about what goes on in your head.

If you want to be sub 65, then go for it... don't wait!!

In your post you have given yourself all these conditions as to why you won't even start on your goal before you even begin. You are putting all the roadblocks up even before the journey commences.
